Campus Life

Community at Reed is built on inquiry, integrity, and the occasional giant runaway snowball. In other words, we take both learning and play seriously. You can publish a literary magazine, join a fire-spinning troupe, or taste cheeses—try them all. And it really is that easy to get involved at Reed; there are no invitations or tryouts for clubs and activities. So explore Reed canyon with your roommate or join a spontaneous campus dance party with classmates who become your best friends before the night is over. It’s all part of being a Reedie.

Get Involved in Campus Life

Step into a community where everyone is welcomed and celebrated. At Reed, we don’t have fraternities, sororities, or varsity sports. Instead, you’ll encounter diverse student clubs inviting you to express yourself and discover your passions. Whether you want to learn to ski or join campus sustainability efforts, you’ll find endless opportunities to get involved and make deep connections with classmates.
